Providing all the key information in a single place and offering peer-support on BRAF-Mutated Bowel Cancer.

BRAF-Mutated Bowel Cancer

Approximately one in ten patients will have a specific genetic mutation of their bowel cancer called BRAF. This makes you special and we are a group full of special people, just like you!

We promote self-advocacy for patients and carers so that you can get the very best treatments and diagnostics.

To be a brilliant advocate, you'll need to understand a bit more about your cancer and how it differs from 'basic' bowel cancer. That's exactly what we do at Breaking BRAF.

Breaking BRAF has been an absolute game-changer for me, since learning I have the BRAF V600E mutation.  People recommended a liquid biopsy which has revealed to my Oncology team many more lines of treatment, including immunotherapy, which might work for me.  This offers me and my family hope”
